Welcome to my online gallery which is intended to compliment my working ‘open studio’, which can be viewed by appointment all year.
The studio is located in West Raynham, near the wild North Norfolk Coast - famous for its big sky together with its equally big sandy beaches, estuaries, creeks, saltmarsh and diverse wildlife. Indeed you will find paintings interpreting well known areas such as Holkham Beach and Burnham Overy Staithe in both the | elements | interpretations | sections
My painting style can be described as contemporary abstract interpretations of those landscapes / elements around me. My prefered medium is acrylic, using paint, pastes and gels which gives them a 3D sculptural quality. Indeed they have been likened to wall sculptures and are designed to hang unframed as they appear on this web site. They are therefore not only suitable for the home but also commercial, corporate and loft style developments.
